We are asking local businesses to donate their old computers and help raise much-needed money for a local charity.
The team at Priority IT is currently refurbishing second-hand computers and offering them to the public in return for a donation to Alzheimer’s Support. But the scheme is proving so successful that we now need more equipment to refurbish in aid of the charity. Which provides crucial support to people living with dementia in Wiltshire.
Many of the second-hand computers that we have refurbished have now been sold, raising valuable funds for Alzheimer’s Support. So please bring in your old computers for us to look at. We are looking for desktops and laptops running Windows 7, and are about 3 years old.
If computers can be refurbished, we will remove all the data securely and reinstall the software. Before offering them to the public in return for a charity donation. The refurbished computers are also ideal for owners of start-up businesses. Who don’t have the funds to buy the latest models but need reliable equipment as their new company grows.
